Instead of being transmitted by air vibrations through speakers, sound is transmitted through the temporal bone and then delivered directly to the cochlea (inner ear). As the sound bypasses the eardrums, there is no risk of overloading and damaging them. In addition, your ears remain free and alert to the sounds around you. Sound quality is essential for clear and effective communication, especially in a professional context. That's why intelligibility was a key objective during the design of the X-VIBES. Carefully designed and positioned MEMS microphones, digital signal processing via algorithms implemented in the Qualcomm processor, and the choice of Environmental Noise Cancelling (ENC) technology. The result is that when you make a call or video conference, the person you're talking to will hear you clearly, without being disturbed by ambient noise, which can be very disturbing.
