The Pac-Man video game, which was released in 1980 in Japan, consisted of moving a yellow circular diagram in a maze and making it eat all the pac-gums while avoiding being hit by ghosts. It is now a landmark in video game history, and is part of the collections of the prestigious Smithsonian Institution in Washington, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
This small luminous figurine connected to a strap represents one of Pac-Man's enemy multicolored ghosts, in this case Pinky, the pink. Each ghost has a behavior of its own: Pinky has a tendency to ambush and aims for the place where Pac-Man is going to be.
